Description
PositionOpenPL is a study that plots the Open Profit/Loss value for the currently selected account, based on the positions open on the currently selected symbol. This value is the difference between a position’s net liquidation value and either execution price or cost basis times the position size. Cost basis values are provided by Schwab and include the effects of commissions and tax elections. By default, the value is returned based on the execution price, however you can change it in the study input parameters.
The Open Profit/Loss value is plotted as a histogram on a lower subgraph. The histogram changes its color based on whether the value is positive or negative.
